1 Overview & Core Principle
Welcome to Fold Smasher (“we,” “our,” or “the App”). We respect your privacy and believe that apps should be fun without tracking you or harvesting your information.
Fold Smasher was engineered as a standalone, offline game for the foldable iPhone Duo and compatible iOS devices. Our policy is simple: we do not collect, process, sell, transmit, or monetize any of your personal data.
2 100% Offline Architecture
Fold Smasher does not connect to any developer server, third-party cloud database, or remote service to function.
- No User Account: No registration, email, or social login is required.
- No Network Transmission: Graphics, audio, and interactions are executed 100% locally on your iPhone.
- Airplane Mode Compatible: The app works fully without Wi-Fi, cellular, or internet connectivity.
3 In-App Purchases (StoreKit)
Fold Smasher offers optional in-app purchases. All purchases are handled exclusively by Apple via StoreKit and your existing Apple ID:
- No Payment Data Access: We never collect, receive, view, or store your card numbers, billing address, or payment credentials.
- Purchase Restoration: Purchases can be restored across your Apple devices using Apple's standard mechanism.
- Apple's Privacy Policy: Transaction data processed by Apple is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
4 Information We Do NOT Collect
To be clear and transparent, Fold Smasher does not collect any of the following:
- Personal Information: Names, email addresses, phone numbers, contacts, or photos.
- Device Identifiers: Advertising identifiers (IDFA), Identifier for Vendors (IDFV), or MAC addresses.
- Location Data: GPS coordinates, IP addresses, or network location.
- Biometric Data: Face ID, Touch ID, or biometric readings.
- Usage & Analytics Data: Session durations, tap heatmaps, or behavioral profiling.
5 On-Device Storage
The App stores minimal state strictly in your device’s sandboxed local storage:
- Gameplay Statistics: Smashed creature counts, high scores, and streak records.
- Persistent Totals: Lifetime stats kept in the iOS Keychain on your device so they survive app updates.
- Game Settings: Haptic toggles, sound volume, and creature selection preferences.
This data remains confined to your device. You can erase it at any time by uninstalling the application or selecting “Restart & Clean” in the in-game Pause menu.
6 Foldable Device Hardware & Sensors
On the foldable iPhone Duo, Fold Smasher detects when you fold the device shut to smash insects using iOS hinge angle telemetry.
Real-time Sensor Processing: Hinge angular velocities and fold angles are evaluated transiently in device memory strictly to trigger smash physics and audio-haptic feedback. No sensor data is ever recorded, written to disk, or transmitted off your device.
7 Third-Party Services & Trackers
Fold Smasher contains zero third-party SDKs for tracking, analytics, or behavioral advertising:
- No Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, or Crashlytics
- No Facebook / Meta SDK or ad pixels
- No third-party ad networks or banner sponsors
8 Children's Privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K)
Because we do not collect, store, or share any personal data from any user, Fold Smasher is fully compliant with COPPA (United States) and the children's provisions of the GDPR (European Union).

We may occasionally update this Privacy Policy to reflect future updates or legal requirements. Modifications will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
