Welcome to Fold Ring (“we,” “our,” or “the App”). We respect your privacy and believe that apps should be fun without tracking you or harvesting your information.
Fold Ring was engineered as a standalone, offline ring box experience for the foldable iPhone Duo and compatible iOS devices. Our policy is simple: we do not collect, process, sell, transmit, or monetize any of your personal data.
2 100% Offline Architecture
Fold Ring does not connect to any developer server, third-party cloud database, or remote service to function.
- No User Account: No registration, email, or social login is required.
- No Network Transmission: Graphics, audio, and interactions are executed 100% locally on your iPhone.
- Airplane Mode Compatible: The app works fully without Wi-Fi, cellular, or internet connectivity.
3 Information We Do NOT Collect
To be clear and transparent, Fold Ring does not collect any of the following:
- Personal Information: Names, email addresses, phone numbers, contacts, or photos.
- Device Identifiers: Advertising identifiers (IDFA), Identifier for Vendors (IDFV), or MAC addresses.
- Location Data: GPS coordinates, IP addresses, or network location.
- Biometric Data: Face ID, Touch ID, or biometric readings.
- Usage & Analytics Data: Session durations, tap heatmaps, or behavioral profiling.
4 On-Device Storage
The App stores minimal state strictly in your device’s sandboxed local storage:
- Style Preferences: Your selected box style and cushion theme.
- Settings: Haptic and sound preferences.
This data remains confined to your device. You can erase it at any time by uninstalling the application.
5 Foldable Device Hardware & Sensors
On the foldable iPhone Duo, Fold Ring reacts as you open and close the device, like opening a ring box.
Real-time Sensor Processing: Hinge and motion readings are evaluated transiently in device memory only to drive the in-app animation and haptic feedback. No sensor data is ever recorded, written to disk, or transmitted off your device.
6 Third-Party Services & Trackers
Fold Ring contains zero third-party SDKs for tracking, analytics, or behavioral advertising:
- No Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, or Crashlytics
- No Facebook / Meta SDK or ad pixels
- No third-party ad networks or banner sponsors
7 Children's Privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K)
Because we do not collect, store, or share any personal data from any user, Fold Ring is fully compliant with COPPA (United States) and the children's provisions of the GDPR (European Union).
